Story of Robert W Ford

My work up to this point has predominently existed in personal collections. Largely portraits, landscapes, interior and capturing daily life.

I spend a great deal of time observing and recording the world around me. Seeing people and places, capturing their likeness in the form of sketches and the occassional painting.

I have been pursuing this form of recording for too many years to count. There is still so much to see and draw that a new sketch book as a gift is never unwelcomed.

I have a degree from Sheffield School of Art in Fine Art specialising in painting, print-making and photography.

I had the honour of being given the opportunity to be "Artist in Residence" for Woburn Abbey for the year of 2015.

My work can be seen in collections across the UK, including the Duke and Duchess of Bedford.
